LOC Classroom – New!

We are happy to introduce the new LOC Classroom program for local students who are attending school virtually. We are offering a COVID careful space for students to come and do their individual online schoolwork, while also being able to do fun, outdoor camp activities when the “school day” is done.

20 students will be the maximum number we enroll for this program and students will move around in small groups of varying sizes depending on age group and activity. We will continue to work closely with our local county health department and state licensing agent to stay up to date on the most recent CDC rules and guidelines. We will also be enforcing strict protocols for health screening, distancing, disinfecting, facial coverings, and other important measures for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. (Read our COVID-19 policies here) We ran a successful summer and fall camp program this year with zero positive cases!

We will provide:

  • Lunch
  • Morning Snack
  • Internet access
  • Individual workspace including a desk and chair
  • Adult help/supervision for schoolwork should they need it

Students must provide:

  • Internet-capable devices
