Close to 3,000 students from across Michigan attend LOC each year. Nine out of 10 students report leadership, confidence, and character growth. Supporting LOC supports tomorrow’s leaders and their growth, positively affecting schools, families, and communities now and in the future.

  • LOC Endowment – provides long-term sustainability for LOC and ensures ongoing enrichment for future students, forever. We are currently trying to raise funds for a matching grant program to get to $1,000,000 in our LOC Endowment. This endowment was set up solely to offer tuition assistance to students who wouldn't be able to attend LOC on their own. We now have $500,000 in the Endowment and we have 5 years to raise an additional $250,000 for the matching program.

    Tuition Assistance Fund – provides funds directly to school groups who cannot otherwise afford to attend a LOC program

    General Fund – provides critical funds used by the Leelanau Outdoor Center leadership to meet the most pressing needs of LOC and its students

    Equipment Fund – provides funds needed to update equipment used in Leelanau Outdoor Center programming
