Winter 2025 Wrap Up
Snow, Snow, and more Snow!
It's been quite a few years since we've had substantial snow for the majority of our Winter season, so this year was extra special! We were able to cross country ski, snowshoe, and sled most weeks and it was such a blessing. LOC is always full of growth, fun, and adventure, but there's something extra magical about a snowy winter. It makes everything outside more beautiful, and everything inside cozier. There's nothing quite like spending the day outside playing in the snow and then coming inside to a roaring fire in the Great House with a cup of hot chocolate. Gratitude abounds!

LOC Staff
Every season we say what an incredible LOC Staff team we had and this Winter's group was no different. They absolutely knocked it out of the park! They really bonded as a staff family and it was so awesome to see that teamwork reflected in how they worked with each group of students. It was such a smooth and fun season, full of personal growth in their teaching and communication skills, as well as making special memories with each student, parent, and teacher that attended LOC. It was truly a pleasure to work with them and we're endlessly grateful for their hard work.
Endowment Matching Campaign
We are currently trying to raise funds for a matching grant program to get to $1,000,000 in our LOC Endowment. This endowment was set up solely to offer tuition assistance to students who wouldn't be able to attend LOC on their own. We now have $500,000 in the Endowment and we have 5 years to raise an additional $250,000 for the matching program.
